Happy Birthday Trace

Well one year has come and gone and Trace is offically ONE!!! I can't believe it. Its amazing how quickly the time flew. We had a little party for him on Saturday with just a few friends and family. He got his very own smash cake and oh boy did he smash it! We had so much fun watching.

One Less

Today has been a rough day for our family. We had to give away our Chloe today. She really doesn't like Trace and has been biting him so we found a miniature schnauzer rescue and took her today. We had her for almost 3 years and it felt like I was giving away one of my babies. We still have Baxter and Cinnamin but life just won't be the same anymore.

Finally

Its been a while since I've posted. Things have been a little hectic. Trace has had RSV and is now finally starting to feel better. I can't believe it but he is almost ONE! Its amazing how quickly the year flew by. We are going vacationing...again. This time we decided to take Wes with us. We are headed to Star Valley then Idaho Falls for the state cutter racing. We'll be in Idaho Falls Saturday and Sunday. I'm super exicted because Trace's birthday is that Saturday and we get to have a party for him and my whole family will get to be there! I can't wait to celebrate.

Vacation

Well...we made it back from Star Valley. Trace and I had a great 9 days away. We went from 40 degree weather to 0 degree weather and from no snow to LOTS of snow. It was great anyway. We went to a wedding and a farewell. They were both awesome!! I got to go sledding with Vandi and the kids with grandma's Christmas Present ( a new 4-wheeler). It was nice to have a babysitter so I could actually do a few things without hauling around Trace the tank! Today has been exciting. Wes called from Rifle....a machine he was working on decided not to cooperate and he now has a broken finger and a black eye. It could have been a lot worse! All things considered its been an exciting week back home! All our puppies are gone now so hopefully life can get back on track!

Happy MLK Day. Well Trace and I are heading home to Star Valley at the end of the week. It seems like its been forever since we've been and I'm missing everyone so much. I can't wait to see everyone! We do get to see Kasi even sooner. She and her friend Jen are coming Friday to pick up the our last pup. Taye (the pup) is a doll. We've grown very attached to her so its going to be hard to see her go. Oh well I guess you can't keep them all. Well everyone have a great couple weeks! I'll post pics and what not after we get back from vacation!!

Happy New Year to everyone. I can't believe its already 2009. Life is moving way to quick. Christmas was great. We stayed home this year. Trace got tons of presents but he really didn't get the whole idea. We had fun watching movies and Wes's grandma Pearl came for dinner. It turned out to be a great day. I guess now we wait and see what 2009 brings!
